A new month means a fresh wave of events around town, and this one is already shaping up to be a good one. March also features International Women’s Day on the 8th, with plenty of community gatherings and celebrations around town honoring the women who help shape our city. Cheers!

🐶 Bark In the Park 2026

A full day of tail-wagging fun returns to Cornerstone Park with dog stunt shows, K-9 demonstrations, pet adoptions, splash zones, games, photo ops, and plenty of treats for pups and their humans.

🌻 Gilcrease Orchard Mini Pop-Up Farm Stand

Swing by Gilcrease Orchard’s early-season farm stand for fresh local goods like apple cider, wildflower honey, peanut butter, olive oil, and farm eggs while supplies last.

💐 International Women’s Day Pop-Up

Sip cocktails and shop a curated lineup of local and women-owned businesses at Las Vegas Distillery while celebrating the women shaping our community.

👁️ Free Eye Exams at Whitney Library (Community Spotlight)

Get a free eye exam, prescription, and glasses if needed at Whitney Library thanks to a partnership with Clark County and the Library District. First-come, first-served. Pre-registration recommended.

Description:

Bark in the Park returns for 2026! Come out to Cornerstone Park to enjoy a full day of activities, demonstrations, vendors, photo opportunities and, of course, hours of dog and people-friendly fun! The list of activities includes:

Canine Stars Stunt Dogs
$25 Pet Adoptions with Animal Protection Services (cash or check only)
HPD K-9 Demonstrations
Pup Cup Station (while supplies last)
Dog hydration and splash-and-play area
Games for pets and their humans
Photo opportunities
Free Caricature

Complimentary shuttle service and parking will be available at RC Willey (20 N. Stephanie St.) on the day of event. Shuttles will run 9:30am-2:15pm for pets and people.

Be sure to help maintain the health and well-being of our furry friends by keeping pets on a leash, ensuring they are fully vaccinated, minimizing socialization with unfamiliar dogs, bringing water for your dog to limit communal drinking and not attending with a pet that is showing symptoms of illness.

Description:

Stop by the Sunflower Mural for 1/2 gallons of Gilcrease Apple Cider, Sweet & Gritty Peanut Butter, Stephenson’s Wildflower Honey, Quinstar Olive Oil, and our fresh chicken eggs while supplies last!

It’s still early in the season, so we are limited on pre-picked produce at this time.

(Please park in the main parking lot. The Pop Up Farm Stand is located by the Sunflower Mural barn. The rest of the Orchard remains closed.)

International Women's Day Pop-Up

Description:

Celebrate International Women’s Day with us at Las Vegas Distillery.

On March 8th from 2 to 6 PM, we’re hosting a Local Makers Pop-Up featuring a curated lineup of locally-owned and women-owned businesses right here in the distillery. Sip a cocktail, browse unique finds, and support the incredible women shaping our community.

As a little extra celebration, the first 50 women to check in at the bar will receive a flower.

Bring your friends, raise a glass, and spend the afternoon shopping, sipping, and celebrating with us.
