See, hear, and experience the intensely dramatic sounds and power of Japanese drumming as the Las Vegas Kaminari Taiko presents an earthshaking concert of traditional songs and contemporary pieces.

After practicing on tires and building their own drums, LVT became Las Vegas Kaminari Taiko (LVKT) because of the impressive thunderous sounds the drums made.

The group, which is part of the Las Vegas chapter of the Japanese American Citizens League, has spent over 20 years performing all over Southern Nevada at schools, conventions, casinos, and community festivals. Under the direction and instruction of Jennifer Caballero, LVKT music balances the traditional roots of taiko with modern sounds and influences. Members consists of students and performers of all ages.

Please note that the drums will be loud. For those with sensitive hearing, please bring your own earplugs or noise-canceling headphones.

Everything you'll need is provided in class along with a live in-person instructor – just bring a smile (and maybe an apron).

“Sand” by and relax as I prep the dough and icing for this 2 hour cookie decorating class! We’ll be spending some time with the fishes learning the basics.

We’ll be building 6 cookies during this 2 hour cookie decorating class! Don’t miss out on this fun 6-cookie, 4-icing class – lunch and a drink is also included in your ticket price!

This class is for the beginner cookier or for the person who is just curious about what cookie decorating is all about! If you have limited experience with sugar cookies, found yourself frustrated with royal icing, or if you're trying to have fun with family or friends, this is the class for you! You will also be given a box to safely transport your cookies home to show off. Everything is prepped right before class – so no baking or icing mixing required. Just decorate!

Come by yourself, bring your best friend, or bring the family - we have seating for up to 10 people! It's a blast whether you're coming with a friend, family member, or solo!

This class is good for ages 6+, but if you'd like to leave the kiddos at home, purchase an add-on kit (more on that below)! The kits are great for kids at home, plus - we'll send you the class PowerPoint so you can teach them yourself!
