🗓 Friday January 24

⏱ 12pm - 3:30pm

📍 Mt. Charleston Library, Conference Room

75 Ski Chalet Pl, Las Vegas, Nevada 89124

Description:

Set aside a whole hour to DO THE WORK of creative writing, journaling, or art. Grab an hourglass and a faux candle & be surrounded by the beauty of nature - all to help your creative mind flourish!

Come enjoy our beautiful library and make time for yourself to write alongside other creative minds. The hardest part of being creative is finding the time to sit down and DO THE WORK. Give yourself the gift of dedicating an entire hour to sit down and write (or draw or sketch or paint - whatever needs doing!). You can get comfy by the fireplace with your laptop or a journal, or settle in at one of our (limited) computer spaces.

We have fancy hourglasses so you can time yourself without using your phone, and faux candles to help set the mood, as well as 3D printed writing buddies you can borrow for luck. If you're anxious about what to write, don't worry! We have prompts available that are designed to get you writing, whether you want to write creatively or journal for self-care.

This event is free and open to the public. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
