Description:

Start your day with a yoga session in the magical glow of sunrise, surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful pumpkin blooms. Whether you seek to reconnect with nature, cultivate mindfulness through mindful movement, or simply start your day in a peaceful way — this is the experience for you.

Following our guided yoga practice, we will wander into the garden to collect fresh seasonal produce. From crisp cucumbers to juicy tomatoes, you will harvest an estimated 4 pounds of your own farm-fresh bounty for your personal enjoyment to take home.

This event blends wellness, nature, and simple pleasures of farm life, providing an ideal opportunity for physical and spiritual restoration.

TICKET DETAILS:

  • Price: $25 per ticket plus transaction fees.

  • 1 ticket per person. Attendees must be 12 years old or older.

  • Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.

  • In the event of weather cancellation, a voucher will be issued for a future event.

🌿 Included with Ticket:

  • Farm-fresh peach lemonade will be served.

  • 45 minutes guided outdoor yoga session (please note that it is operated on asphalt surface)

  • A harvest bag up to 4 pounds of mix produce (this will include seasonal produce such as cucumbers, tomatoes, eggplants, squashes, zucchinis)

🧘‍♀️ Part 1: 6:00 AM-7:00 AM: Sunrise Yoga at Pumpkin Patch

Guest check-in and get settled in the field. Breathe in the air and enjoy a slow, grounding yoga flow surrounded by the greenery of pumpkin vines, blooming pumpkin flowers and the peaceful rhythm of nature. Suitable for all levels, this class encourages mindfulness, movement, and connection to the earth.

🍅 Part 2: 7:00 AM - 7:30 AM: Crop Harvest Experience

After yoga session, enjoy a hands-on farm tour to vegetable garden and harvest experience. You’ll get to pick your own seasonal produce up to 4 pounds to take home!

PREPARATION GUIDELINES:

  • Bring a yoga mat (A thick mat is recommended)

  • Gloves and shears for picking

  • Dress appropriate for the weather

  • Bring a hat, sunscreen, and a towel

  • Wear closed toe shoes and be mindful of uneven ground

EVENT POLICIES:

  • No pets allowed

  • No vulgar or offensive clothing

  • No weapons, alcohol, smoking or vaping

Description:

Las Vegas Mayor Shelley Berkley will welcome participants to this year’s Las Vegas Arts & Culture Summit for members of the local arts community in the auditorium at the Historic Fifth Street School Thursday, Aug. 21. Last year’s summit focused on arts advocacy and arts education. This year the focus is museum and civic partnerships, and growing relationships in the community with galleries, mentorships and teaching. Featured speakers include Heather Harmon, executive director of the Las Vegas Museum of Art; Michael Govan, CEO of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art; and Ayanna N. Hudson, chief programs officer for Americans for the Arts, among others.

The full day of events, 8am - 5pm at the Historic Fifth Street School, located at 401 S. Fourth St., includes a continental breakfast, lunch, performances, panel discussions, speakers, evening reception with refreshments, and parking. Full agenda here.

“The arts have a natural ability to bring community together and contribute greatly to the identity of the city,” said Jennifer Kleven, deputy director of the city’s Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs. “The summit encourages opportunities to connect, collaborate and share knowledge, adding to the city’s creative ecosystem.”

News media are welcome to attend. Most events take place in the auditorium and gallery. The event is presented by the city of Las Vegas, in partnership with the Mayor’s Fund for Las Vegas Life. Additional sponsors include the Nevada Arts Council and Meow Wolf.

During this fun-filled adventure, we’ll take a moment to mindfully soak in the stunning beauty of Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, then, we will paint what we see! But here’s the exciting twist: after a set amount of time, we’ll swap our paintings with one another, adding fresh ideas and new touches to each other’s artwork. This playful exchange will inspire us to make new observations and see the natural world through each other’s eyes.

You’ll leave with your very own masterpiece while also forging new friendships with fellow nature lovers. Come join the fun and let your imagination run wild!
