🌴 Tropicana Implosion 🎆
A date has been set for the Tropicana’s implosion. Around 2:30am on Wednesday, October 9, the demolition will take place (pending approval). The implosion will be part of a commemorative event featuring a drone show and a fireworks display. In its place? A $1.5 billion ballpark for the A’s. Construction on the stadium is scheduled to commence in April 2025 and is slated to be ready in time for the 2028 MLB season.
