Description:

Join us this year as we celebrate The heARTs District.

The Arts District was originally 18 blocks of small businesses and local artists, hence our logo The "18b". We've grown quite a lot but we still embrace our humble beginnings. As we became more popular and our community continues to grow at a rapid pace, we realized we needed to do something to help keep art and artists in the Arts District. Chalk It Down! is a community sponsored art festival designed to help bring art into every life.

Our Third Annual Chalk It Down! Art Festival along with Market in the Alley continue to welcome many talented artists, sponsored by our local businesses. Our community gift to the artists is a juried art show with no entry fee. In addition to no entry fee, the 18b Las Vegas Artists Fund will pay the juried artists a stipend! Sponsoring art is an integral part of our community.

This year we are adding to the annual festival footprint by including Boulder Plaza, on the steps of the famous Arts Factory, home to many of our local artist studios and galleries. In addition to more artists, we are also hosting community sponsored information tables, audience participation zones, non-chalk artists and additional vendors. This is an outdoor event open to all ages and free!

Come out and enjoy the real Las Vegas. The City of Las Vegas is Down for Anything and the Arts District is ready to Chalk it Down! with you.
